Robert has been a full time REALTOR in the
Lynchburg area for over twenty-five years. Ranking in the top
five agents in his board since 1984, closing almost thirty-four
million dollars in residential sales in 2006. Robert has been
proficient in relocation, subdivision developing and sales as
well as neighborhood marketing. In the forefront of marketing
new homes and construction in this area Dawson Ford Garbee is a
leader in new construction, residential resales and land
development.
Robert's volunteer present and past consists of Lynch's Landing,
Friday Cheers, Board member of Academy of Music, Lynchburg
Association of REALTORS Board of Directors, Lynchburg Humane
Society, Alzheimer's Association, President of Ms. Lynchburg
Scholarship Foundation and other charitable organizations.
Robert has chaired and been a member of Lynchburg Association Of
REALTORS Education Committee, MLS Committee, Awards Committee,
Community Outreach and other local committees. Robert received
the Rookie of the Year award in 1982, achieved the Lynchburg
Association of REALTORS Level of Excellence Award numerous
years. He also received the Sales Associate of the Year for the
Lynchburg Association of REALTORS in 1987, 2003 and again 2005.
Robert was the first four-million dollar producer in this area
in 1984, he achieved every available Century-21 designation from
1981 through 1986 in relocation, new homes sales and
productivity. In 1986 Robert became a trainer, manager and
recruiter for a local top competitor, opening his own firm in
1991. In 1995 Robert purchased Ford Garbee & Co., REALTORS and
put his two firms together creating Dawson Ford Garbee & Co.,
REALTORS.

I have been a full time REALTOR for Dawson Ford Garbee and a member of Lynchburg Association of Realtors since 1996. I currently reside in Bedford County, and I am very active in Lynchburg, Forest, Bedford Co., Bedford City, Huddleston, Body Camp, Goodview, Thaxton, Cifax, Goode, Smith Mountain Lake, Moneta, Blue Ridge, and Villamont, As well as Campbell Co., Timberlake and surrounding areas.
I specialize in farms and land, business, Residential and Commercial, a lot of large parcels of land with and without homes.
